As a non-profit organization, gopea promotes and supports young artists at state-recognized German art academies.

With the opening of the gopea-kunstraum the main page was in line to get relaunched.
The difficulty here was to keep the online gallery simple and efficient. Each year 55 students are accepted and each of them can exhibit 4 works in the online gallery. This means we have to host well over 660 high quality photos without slowing down the website.

The current gallery is hidden behind a login that only the sponsors of gopea have. They can then exclusively view the pictures online and decide which ones they want to bid on at the annual auction.
